Scott Mitchell has been a working professional artist in Rochester, NY since early 2000. His art experiences and education were nurtured from a small farming community in North Eastern Pennsylvania and refined by formal training.

Elements
"Elements" is part of an ongoing series exploring the fundamental concepts used in art and design.
These works examine the combination of numerous visual elements and principles of design and how they are incorporated into our daily lives. Everything that we see can be broken down into smaller individual elements and then reassembled into new and different stimulating combinations.
The purpose of this work is to visually open the door to multiple possibility for these combinations of elements to coexist together.
It is my hope that you can create a connection with this work and establish your own interpretation of these elements and how they personally relate to you.
